whats his first name? if hes around welterweight he could end up fighting billy smith at some point. which got me thinking ....has there ever been a fight where both boxers had the same name? commentators nightmare!

Jonathan Gonzalez v Jonathan Gonzalez (http://boxrec.com/list_bouts.php?human_ ... &cat=boxer) interestingly it was both the debut for both of them.

Very interesting the guy who lost his debut went on to loose 4 fights in a row by ko and the guy who won his debut went on to win his next 11 with 10 ko's !

Quality name. Made me chuckle like a throw back to the old names.

The one who won is a top, top, top prospect and well worth keeping an eye on.

Clinton Mckenzie fought Tony Mckenzie for the British Light Welterweight Title many years ago. Reg Gutteridge commentated on it and called the Boxers by the Christian names only. To add to the confusion Tony Mckenzie claimed to be related to Clinton. Dont think this was ever proved though.
