..the low budget shitty zero production values, the canned laughter, the set which even Cagefighter makes look like a little broom cupboard, and most of all Bunces hysteria and stupidity (after the Frazier "eeeeees brown bread now" debacle) which has now resulted in a new low for what masquerades as sports journalism....his wearing a cowboy hat while interviewing the native american hawk, and his silly advice to him, complete with clown voice and usual fat man in exploding suit diatribe.
The show is boring now and it just gives the sport a minority sport feel like fly fishing.

Preferred it when Andy Kerr and Buncey bounced off each other

dont get me wrong I think Bunce has a place. As a host of a boxing show especially when talking about non home grown fighters he can be controversial and critical which i like. And he is a fine journalist when writing. But this silliness, and the fact that during the boxing hour he is over flattering to all his guests makes it a pointless exercise.

Fishing is by far the biggest participation sport in the country. Agree with you BUT I do like his writing.

Bunce may be trying for the Bert Sugar thing- being noticable and memorable on screen, Bunce is a good journalist; as was Sugar; he seems to try to hard sometimes but I like the fact a real boxing fan is on the screen, he is not a sports tele presenter with a boxing brief; he is a fan and presents a show and some bouts. I like him though he is annoying, my gorgous pouting wife doesn't like his voice.

Is he a real fan anymore? I don't think he is.

I'll never forget that episode he did on Setanta where he was up against Paris Hilton, Jade Goody and iCarly for some award and he started off by going on about Jades hair wondering if it's a wig or not, then he goes on about the TV show about her "this show about this young woman dying and I found it really entertaining" and then "if the show about Jade loses out to Paris Hilton...iCarly can come again, Jade can't!"
I almost died laughing at him obviously meaning well but making a right mess of it, Andy Kerr was shitting his pants.

a 'good journalist' seeks to discover and report the truth and continuously challenges the status quo. bunce is in the employ of a tv channel which is 'owned' by one particular individual and will therefore write/broadcast what he won't get in trouble for.
the whole thing is patronising and treats the audience like a bunch of fkwits. but to be fair, if u are paying a subscription to watch that rubbish then you pretty much deserve what you get served up

Thank you for your judgement and I look forward to the utopian journalistic morals and ideals that will no doubt be revealing the truth soon, though to be fair, I pay the tenner a month to watch the fights, looking forward to tonight - particularly Enzo v Ovill

"Mugabi gets knickers in a twist over insequential Bunce related topic shocker!"
Almost as commonplace as "Vaudeville Villain strains sinew while attempting to flex high brow muscle in witty retort" and "Dondada shows slight preference for Hearn over Warren!"

Don't cramp my style by limiting me to Hearn, fella...
