LEBA meetings are held the 1st Sunday of the month at The William Blake public house just along the road from Old St Station. You & your dad will be made very welcome by everyone there. Meetings start at 11am but everyone gets there early and enjoys a cup of coffee that is supplied free at the bar. Always plenty of interesting faces and chat to listen to, hope to see you both there.

Thank you for your kind offer of a pint, just bring yourself & your dad along and join in the chat of the fight game and enjoy meeting up with some faces of yesteryear, as I have said before the pair of you will be made most welcome by everyone there.

We will meet up at LEBA soon, I wont make Januarys meetings because I shall be in Kenya for a month leaving the UK just before Christmas but will meet up with you & your dad at Febs meeting.
I shall ask Charlie Wright to call out for Mister Punch on the mike then we can have a chat.
You say that your dad was an ex fighter around Sammys time, ask your dad if he knew Dave Sharkey the featherweight who fought out of Aldgate, sadly no longer with us but I am on very good terms with his son & if your dad has any stories about Dave we would like to hear them.

I wish you & your family a lovely safe & peaceful Christmas, looking forward to meeting you in Feb? :TU:

ive just had a quick look and only teddy peckham rings a bell with me - but the old fella might know a bit more. his mind is amazing for old names of yesteryear.
