Haven't seen anyone mention his fight last night against John Donnelly. stopped him just over a minute with a belter bodyshot. Looks like a good little prospect that lad.

He is not a prospect mate, not any more, can't see anyone at his weight beating him at national level.

The shot that ended it was clinical. A rematch with Sexton would be worth seeing if they both stay at the same weight.

fair enough ,it was a pretty good finish an clinical finish! But... Iain butcher would have taken a punch like that and ridden the storm an easily overclasse butler and outpunched him.

Class fighter is Butler. Won the ABAs beating Luke Campbell in the process before turning pro.

It was Ryan Farrag that beat Luke Campbell in the ABAs not Paul butler. But Paul is a top top lad and would have too much for ANYBODY at that weight domestically.

If both stay the same weight Sexton failed to make the 8.3lb weight limit in the 1st place... Sexton weighted in as a Super Bantam weight...

He has only had 4 fights Lets see In 2 years time if he is any where Butler Level

What a fighter Butler is, his movement and combinations are beautiful to watch. He is world class IMO! Can go all the way, beautiful to watch as well!

If he steps up to Euro Level now then that level all his fights will have to be at He's been a Pro for just under 2 years and only had 9 fights, give another year to 18 months then move on..

I think part of the problem is that domestically the division is so small it's going to be pointless in him fighting any of the brits at 115.

Ah weren't completely sure when writing that. Thought it might have been one of the other finalists but Farrag slipped me mind.

imo He'd only have one or two fights at S-Fly at Euro Level then they would push for a World Title which would be too soon (11 Fights) The level in Euro at S-Fly is very poor so he should try and win the British Title outright have a couple at Euro Level and then he would be in for a shot at a World Title, 5-6 fights down the line 18-2 year away..

well that is the prefferd, weight but if a title shot (at super fly) came up i would anticipate he would take it . His next fight has seen a change of opponent, and is fighting at Super Fly mate . But more will come of that later in the week
