I really don't see there being a huge British following going over there, and Devon Alexander aint exactly box office is he. So I don't know how they expect to sell MSG or a big Vegas venue out.

I'd only go over to the States to watch a super fight to be honest. If Pacman v Mayweather gets made I'd try to get tickets or if say Price or Haye fought a Klitschko over there (wouldn't happen in the States) I'd then strongly consider it but not for Brook v Alexander. That sort of trip costs a lot of money and couldn't justify it for that sort of fight.

Not sure why people are saying visas are a problem. You don't need a visa to go to the States, you just fill in a card on the plane as far as I remember.

If You got a record you need to apply for a visa before you go and your not likely to get it.........Ps My friend tryed just going over and he never made it out of JFK they sent him home on the next plane

Wrong time of the year for me unfortunatly,i might of if it was later in the year.I expect i will end up going to Denmark if Froch fights Kessler(i`m not sure if Eddie could get that fight in this country) and possibly Germany for Haye-Vitali(yep still a fan)if it happens.I would like to see a big fight in America,been to NYC and Vegas a few times but not for a fight yet.

i think your right there, brooks only just taking off in this country, shame they cant do the fight in this country win it build up the fanbase like the hitman had then go over to the states.

NYC would be an outside chance; no chance if Vegas.

No. I think Brook will only have a smattering of fans who'll travel. Hatton was a boom time fighter, Brook is a bust. Even Ricky would struggle to get a big travelling contingent right now.

Would love to but can't afford it at the moment, so like mentioned above unless the Euros come in its a no.

I think you've hit nail on head sadly.

I've been to the US for two fights: Pacquaio vs JMM III and Froch vs Ward.

This fight is nowhere near big enough for a huge following to go out there.

Alexander isn't really a big household name, especially in the UK, so they'll have to pack the bill for it to be a success and for it to sell well.

Agree on brook's fan base. Disagree on rick - would depend on the oppo. Trip to new york to fight paulie again might not generate the huge numbers, but i reckon any trip to vegas against any name opponent would get a fair few beg, steal and borrowing to go over there in big numbers again.
