In Japan? What are you smoking! Okay so Fujimoto's only boxing claim to fame is out pointing on overweight, overrated so called contender, but Haumono is a little long in the tooth, visibly struggled in his last fight, and in all fairness hasn't achieved jack shit in his boxing career. At best he's an Australian domestic level fighter, which isn't saying very much!

Fujimoto is the improving boxer here. The other guy is just a warm body having a last spin of the wheel before Father Time kicks in.

Fujimoto's last 2 opponents were Tillman and Welliver, both of whom looked like they ate all the pies. Tillman was coming off a 1 round KO by Dunny Bill, so he was easy pickings and next up Fujimoto couldn't even stop Welliver.

The difference between Tillman/Welliver and Solomon, is that Solomon does not carry any flab and can hit and hit hard.

But again to get his hand raised in the land of the rising sun, Solomon will have to stop Fujimoto, otherwise a home-town decision is odds-on!

I was lucky enough to see Afa Tafou the other night against Tutaki what a war, probably the best fight I,ve ever seen live... I don't know seems like there matching him pretty tough and he's doing the business. Long may it continue.

I think the obvious point that's being missed is that Solomon will be being brought over to lose. When did an Aussie last have a successful fight in Japan?

Dale Westerman defeated Yoshinori Nishizawa in June '05 at the same venue that Mohamed Ali defeated Mac Fostrer.

No, while technically not the best fight ever for pure entertainment it was a cracker, mate I don't know how either of them lasted for 5 rounds..... Put it this way I would pay for a rematch! Saved the card there was some real one sided beatings, not as pretty on the eye.

So nearly 8 years! Solomon is fading and in all honesty semi-retired. Probably after this setback he'll quit for good.

Checking his kick boxing record he's never been stopped even against the top K1 fighters. Good luck Solomon making a dent!
