Does anyone know anything about Dawson?

Seems he has a 2-0 (1) record
Weighs around 240lbs - not sure of his height to judge his physique, but it seems he's a big boy for freddy to be in with. Whats Flintoff - 210? 215?
Was in training to fight Kimbo Slice next, although the fight fell through - worrying for Flintoff if this is the case and Dawsons team thought he would win, as for all Kimbos faults when we talk about levels he is a world away from anything Freddy would be in the ring at this time (or most likely anytime).

Anymore for anymore? long shot that anyone has actually seen him fight, but has anyone seen any video clis, interviews anything?

I thought Kimbo Slice fought someone called Richard Dawson and beat him, but was a different Richard Dawson?

A lot of people were saying on Facebook that Dawson was done in a round by Kimbo, a video of the fight was posted.
However after a bit of research I read that Dawson was supposed to be taking on Kimbo but pulled out at the last minute and replaced by Jesse Porter.

I know nothing about Dawson though...

I posted about this the other day and included a link to a publicity video of the 2-0 Richard Dawson, from Oklahoma, Kimbo was meant to be fighting (but didn't), the same man I believe to be scheduled to fight Flintoff. He looks the part and sounds the part but I have not seen him fighting. The link can be found in the earlier thread that addressed this very subject.

Edit...the guy pictured in Wales' post is not the same guy I'm talking about.

I just saw that picture as the picture of the link to the video of dawson.

If he had any chance against Kimbo,a nd is coming to win, he'll beat Flintoff handily.

Totally agree, though I have changed my mind on this only recently - how can Freddie Flintoff possibly bring this joke of a sport into disrepute - in fact, bang in an IBF Australasian super cruiserweight title along with it - why not? Anything goes nowadays.

Boxing has lost all credibility as a sport, it really has. What has happened to the world championships scene is a damn shame as greedy, self serving politicians have shoehorned their way into power and have sold their belts to any bidder - you can even by a WBA belt on ebay for 40 quid. Boxing is dying - slowly but it is dying.
