What is everyone expecting of Hatton?

With his fight just over a week away, all the initial shock/hype of his comeback out of the way and some positive soundbite coming from people watching him train etc.
What is everyone expecting from him for;
1. His comeback fight?
2. After the first fight, if he wins and looks good in doing so?

I'm expecting Hatton to be as fit and tenacious as ever. A few spurious reports and selected images have started rumours that he's not going to look too good in physical terms. I can put those rumours firmly to bed, Ricky already looks in tremendous shape and, far more importantly, is as fit as he looks. HOWEVER, he will almost certainly have timing issues and because of this could well look laboured. This is to be expected so people should not go overboard with their criticism. After a scrappy start, Ricky will begin to dominate and stop Senchenko somewhere between five and nine.

My expectations have been laughed at by many so far but I honestly expect Hatton to win by late stoppage or points in this first fight.
Its what i expect to happen after this which people find funny, I honestly wouldnt be surprised if he beats Brook or Khan afterwards then has another shot at Mayweather.
He has always said that he would love another crack at Mayweather and Mayweather has also said he "Would love to come and fight infront of his UK fans"
If Hatton proves himself to be even 75% of the fighter he was then Id expect that fight to happen in a football stadium near you!

This is what I'd like to happen.
Brook (hopefully) beats Alexander. Feb 2013.
Then...fornicate the Yanks and keep it local.
Brook vs Khan. Jun/Jul 2013.
Hatton vs Someone. Jun/Jul 2013.
Brook/Khan vs Hatton. Nov/Dec 2013.

there is no way Khan will fight Brook in some kind of eliminator for Hatton
it makes NO SENSE for anyone other than Brook

good future is rick shines again,
a big domestic fight would be great for next summer

How would it be an eliminator ?
If Brook beats Alexander then he is the IBF world champion.
Amir Khan (who does not have any titles) could then step up in weight to fight Brook.
The winner of that fight (who will be the IBF world champion) would then fight Hatton.
I would like to see this.

You may be right BUT don't underestimate the Hearn machine. Brook will be a big name, with a big belt if he beats Alexander. A totally different animal in the public recognition dept. Khan has no belt and his public support is haemorrhaging. In eight months time a Brook fight, in a big UK venue, may be a lot more tempting for Khan than it may seem now.

I'm trying to gauge as much as I can from watching the clips of him training.
The head movement seems to infrequent and the hand speed doesn't seem what it was. He looks to have some pop in his punches and the footwork looks good.
Its going to be interesting, must admit didn't like his talk of losing on the BBC.
"If I get splattered in 2 rounds again, I feel I can still hold my head held high on Nov 25th and focus on being the best promoter and trainer".
It wasn't exactly the same talk that he mentioned months ago of world titles and even rematching Floyd and Pacquiao.
Very interesting what he said recently about Billy Graham, people have said that Ricky's performances were not the same post Tszyu, I wonder how much was this down to Billy's health issues?

Khan v Hatton makes shed loads more money than Brook v Hatton
titles are irrelevant
that is FACT!

It's almost a fact. Titles aren't wholly irrelevant but I take your point.
Khan vs Hatton would make far more money were Khan coming of a world title win versus Kell Brook than it would if he wasn't.
There are more options for all involved to make money and for the fans to be entertained with a three way rivalry rather than two.

I wasn't impressed with how he looked when i saw a report on him last night, i've started to lean towards a weakened Hatton to start off well then fall apart late on

i dont think Khan beating Brook & then fighting Hatton would make any more money than fighting Hatton next... it would just make us Boxrecers think more of him (khan)
if khan fought & lost to brook then hatton & khan would both lose money on there what would have been potiential fight
Hatton would then have to fight Brook which would generate less money than Hatton/Khan
obv Brook would have more of a name than he has now by beating khan... but that name is never going to be as big as Khan
im waffling.. i know what i mean

Physically he looks similar to how he used to look before a fight.

I don't expect him to be as good as before though but i do expect him to come through on Saturday.

If they are fighting in the UK and let him do as he pleases (similar to Andre Ward in Oakland) that is very much possible.
The sad part is it gets balanced because when they left their home countries, they saw the ref was against them.

His physique is admirable after his years of indulgence but facially he looks 50 +
50 plus is abit steep, he looks roughly his age IMO

I hope he hasn't over done the training like he did with Pacquiao. He looks a bit drained now facially.

I think he's going to get struggle with the speed early on and end up eating a fair few punches which will wobble him. He'll end up getting cut and go for the stoppage like the only way he knows how.

It will be really interesting to see what he has left, and he was picked an opponent good enough to really test him.

A good night with some beer and maybe a chinese, a few people round and a decent, entertaining fight where Hatton wins; rest of card is good as well and my brothers birthday so

I wouldn't be surprised if he struggles if the fight goes into the later rounds. Its better to wait to see how he fares here before seeing where he goes next. Talk of Khan and Brook is a bit premature.
