As soon as i saw the words 'bloody sky' i knew exactly what the complaint was going to be.
You're not the only one who feels a little cheated, especially when they usually show a few undercard fights from the U.S shows.
The worst thing is i won't be able to watch it on thursday or watch the repeats on friday. Gutted.

I was pi$$ed as well, why the f**k are they making us wait till Thursday? What's even worse is, they tried to rub it in by showing a few little clips of the fight, BASTARDS. It looked pretty good from what I saw, and from what i've read. Mesi had the fight won, and then fell apart in the last couple of rounds. He's real lucky, he just sneaked the win.

Mesi clearly has a stamina problem. He has now faded alarmingly twice on the spin.

Lol, same here as soon as i saw the thread i knew the complaint!! And i feel the same, what's the point in us sitting down on thursday night pretending we don't know the result? Ludicrous...at least with Sunday morning US action it's happened only hours earlier so there's no real chance of having the result wreked and that is often better than staying up and watching it live cause at least i aint like a zombie all day 8) SORT IT OUT SKY  :)

The only reason Mesi v Jirov is on next thursday is because there's no SKY boxing next weekend, which means there won't be a Ringside programe which means they need something to show on the thursday night!

The stupid fools could easily show an old classic fight, which would be much better. That way we could have seen Mesi v Jirov before we knew the result, and another great fight.

Anybody see it?
Mesi fell apart at the end. Really struggled to the bell.
Tired more than anything. I only saw the final 2 rds though.

I saw it, Mesi was totally f**ked. He's gonna need to work on that stamnia if wants to get anywhere. Even in the rounds he was winning he was open and getting a with some flush punches.

He looked kind of ok to me, not that I'm saying he can hang with better comp 'cause I definately think he can't. But he seems to have an idea of what he's supposewd to be doing, his combination punching isn't bad, a little slow though.
If he'd started younger Mesi might have made a half decent cruiser.
Has a weird body, looks like he's been down to the morgue and had a second torso grafted onto his own, definately carries to much weight for his frame.
All the doodles are going to town on how awful they think he is but I'm guessing taht's the inevitable backlash from misplaced hype, which is fair enough, if he wasn't white barely anybody would have heard of him, whereas we all knew his name years before we saw him, personally though I think that while it is indeed unfair for a guy to get a career headstart based purely on his skin, he's popular and if that grows it'll only get more people tuning in to the sport/rectums on pews.
