Wasn't able to catch the fight, how did Quigg look? Is he the real deal?

He was very impressive. Munroe took a close first round but from then on it was one way traffic. Two great body shots stopped Rendall Munroe in his tracks.
I've always liked Scott Quigg but in his last couple of fights he's been good but maybe not magnificent. He certainly looked the business tonight.
Quigg v Frampton please!

Quigg was clinical and didn't waste anything. Clever intelligent boxing. Pressured Rendall with constant body shots and they just took their toll.

Not as good as Darke and Woodhall made him seem.

I thought he was really good, people don't do that to Rendall. Rendall aint massively special or anything, but he is tough, durable and has great experience at a higher level. So to me, it was a real statement.

Quigg looked great but Munroe looked bad, but perhaps Quigg should take a lot of credit for making him look that way.

Quigg walked through him with precise body shots. Very impressive.

Quigg looked the real deal live picked his shots showed great head and foot movement made Munroe look average, the sparing in the wild card has done him the world off good, made himself the number 1 bantamweight in Europe tonight

Quigg looked better than I expected and definitely looks like he's improving.

agreed i think if the previous fight hadnt been stopped we may have seen a more competitive fight but Quigg just beat rendal with ease, he's improving big time.
Who ever wins between him and frampton (if they fight) is surely on to big things.

Shame Rendall was a shadow of the fighter he was 2-3 yrs ago. Since he switched from Maloney to Hatton he was inactive and in against poor opposition such a shame as he would have beaten Molitor during his second reign.
Hats off to Scott he looked impressive the fight with Frampton is still 50 50 in my eyes hope it happens in 2013.

Will be interesting to see if Quigg can take a shot.
Same with Frampton though I guess.
Great fight down the line.

Munroe needs to fight Frampton now.
If Frampton also beats him, then make the Quigg fight.

Last night was the type of performance that makes me think Munroe's done mate.
Even if he was a bit better than last night, Frampton would mullah him. Then again, Frampton's combative style would give him a better chance, perhaps.

Munroe was the worst I've seen him last night and I've seen most of his televised performances since he beat Martinez the first time. Maybe a jump up in weight can restart his career but I doubt it.
Quigg was very good. The Frampton fight would be a fine spectacle 50/50 IMO.

Indeed, was quite shocked how bad he was. Do you think his lack of activity since joining Hatton has harmed him?

Quite a polished performance i thought.
I have always favored Quiqq over Frampton if they were to ever meet - but for some reason after watching him last night i think i would back Frampton now.

Quigg is more versatile than he showed last night, which was simply executing a strategy.
Frampton has clever feet though and can box superbly.

He was substantially lacking power, i think quigg was shocked how soft his punches were and once he knew that he went to town. Last fight rendall seemed to be hitting hard enough to discourage quigg a little. He's never been heavy handed but last night he looked like he couldnt dent a snowman.

Just noticed your earlier comment about Munroe v Frampton - that's a fight i would like to see, if Munroe could pick himself up for it, would be good to watch.

If Quigley can hold a shot he could be going places.
