what a fight this is , ive not seen much of heffron but know how good and strong denton is and i know as sparred him the mans a beast be a tough fight but one i expect dent to win , opinions ????

Ronnie will win imo! He will start fast build a lead an depends. How. Rusty denton is ronnie will get hit tho but he takes a shot well I reckon 116 - 112 heffron gotta box tho not just slug it out as will get tired an has never done more than 8 an dentons fitness never looks in doubt...

i agree hard fight but think effron show how good he is

Denton Vassell will wear heffron down, Heffron don't hit hard enough to keep him off.

Got to unfortunately disagree with you on this one Frankie, something I don't usually do lol Ronnie starts like a bat out of hell, 100 mile a hour but unfortunately slows down quite drastically after 5 rounds, Denton will lose the first couple rounds til he gets the ring rust off, by then Ronnie will slow down and Denton will motor on and I can see him being too strong and Ronnie won't be able to keep him off, I see Vasell stopping Ronnie in the championship rounds IMO, I hope Ronnie wins if I'm honest but my boxing head tells me otherwise

I think depends on a few things, my initial thoughts were Vassell to be too strong and get stoppage around 10 rounds. But Vassell has been out for a year now and he has said in the past he struggles badly with nerves, so he might be very rusty and stuggle focusing come fight time.
Heffron has been busy and gets good sparring, he wasn't impressive in his last fight, but maybe that was a motivation problem. He shouldn't have any problem for this fight though.
He needs to tighten up his defense as he seems a bit open to a counter right hand, and takes a risk by staying in the pocket a bit too long after throwing his own shots.

But full marks to Heffron for taking this fight, he obviously has confidence in his own ability.
If Vassell comes in primed and ready, then i stick to my original prediction of a stoppage by round 10.

Heffron looked a bit slow and easy to hit when I saw him last (think it was a Gavin undercard).

I fancy heffron for this one, but either way it should be a good fight

Heffron would have been better off taking a knee, he was gone.

Not a fan of the stoppage personally, though the damage to Heffron's nose was nasty and Vassell would have fucked it up.

Good stoppage. Vassell looked in cracking shape.

If the ref didn't stop it, heffron would only just be coming round. He was in no position to defend himself

I never really rated Vassell, thought he lacked power to get away with his style.

Anyone think gavin v vassel will happen? Defo think. Would make amuch better fight than his next opponent anyway andway more deserving. it should however have a feeling warren will not match him up

I think Vassell would give Gavin hell. Pull him into a fight and really hurt him down the stretch.

Vassell reminding us that he was also once a hot prospect and just needs a push with his career, he definitely can be a decent player domestically and maybe up to euro level.

Not been impressed with Heffron so far, I think it was a case of the promotion/hype pushing him further than his actual results. The way he struggled with McDonagh would suggest there is still a fair amount of work to do before he is ready to push on.

I knew Vassell would stop Heffron eventually, but was suprised how easy he out boxed him and out jabbed him, Heffron was trying to force everything, were as Vassell was so relaxed, could see the Ko coming thought it would be to the body though.

I thought the allegedly commentators were really biased towards Heffron in the early rounds, till they realised it was one way traffic.

Agree mate, but he's there fighter and they've built him up so that was probably their remit.

Yes mate, but commentators don't win fights, fighters do.
