It was announced as 39-38. Anyone know what the scoring of the rounds were?

Presumably 2 to Fred one to Les Dawson and one even. Was a count given? Even so that was prob scored 10 9. Who was the ref by the way?

Ref was Phil Edwards I think.

10-9
9-10

I thought the farce scoring compliment the farce fight very well.
It was the ultimate Billy from the pub V's Joe from the pub. You will never in your lifetime see a worse main event than that.
The highlight been Flintoff constantly trying to throw a jab and a right at the same time and ending up in some ugly clinch.

Les Dawson?

Is he Flintoff's next opponent?

Phil Edwards is from Preston isn't he? Where's Flintoff from? That might explain the 39.

I thought Freddie was trying to bowl rather than punch with the right hand of his.

Some fighters are known for trademarks shots.
Maybe Flintoff will make the man slap popular!

If you score the 2nd round for Flintoff 10 (-1) -9 then it becomes 9-9, which becomes 10-10 under the ten point must system. Then as the ref you give the 4th to Dawson just to make it look a bit closer, cause 40-37 for Flintoff with a knockdown would look idiotic and like the fix was in.

I think he must have scored it (Flintoff first)
1 10-9
2 9 -10
3 10-9
4 10-10
39-38

I thought the 3rd was maybe a 10-10 round.

Erm, it was deliberate given that the chap wasn't very good.

Only watched it the once - I am sure it was Phil Edwards refing and scoring - Boxrec have it down as Richie Davies.

Richie Davies reffed the Price fight so he must be able to run damn quick if he made it to the MEN that fast.

10-9
10-10
10-9
9-10
39-38
Scoring a 10-10 round with a knockdown is very good officiating if the guy knocked now clearly won he round. Very rarely happens, but it's correct.
Could also be
10-9
9-10
10-9
10-10
If the ref scored the 2nd round even, less the knockdown.
