Yeah, burst by a Farnell right hand. It's like a cut eye ending. A fighter can't complain if the cut was opened by a punch.
Somebody teach him how to fight before he asks for a rematch.

I think a fighter can complain about a cut if it is a fight he is dominating, remember Damaen Kelly vs Keith Knox?

But in this instance it was cause by one of a number of punches landed on the ear drum - he needs to fight first.

You didn't hear McCullough ask for a rematch, when exactly the same thing happend to him.

I'm afraid it could be a long road back for Mr Murphy, Farnell made him look like a novice, which many may say he is.

Murphy doesn't deserve a rematch. He got exposed as a one punch wonder.

I agree, back to the club circuit for him. He was only built up by SKY because they were embarrassed there man Elcock got sparked, that's my thinking anyway...it was a lucky punch plain and simple.

i like lawrence he seems a nice guy and ive seen him fight a few times. honest pro whose been unlucky with injuries here and there, particularly with his hand.. ok the eardrum bit is a bit dodgy since farnell done it during the fight but id like to see him have another crack at a title. after all he's with uncle frank,who is in turn with sky. between them im sure they conjour up a title or two

i thought it was a nice touch by farnell to put a letter into the boxing news thanking lawrence for giving him a shot at the title. i know farnell gets a bit of stick in certain places but he seems ok to me.
