I was just wondering why Flintoff is ranked no.27 out of 36 in the British rankings,He's only had one fight and didn't fight a British fighter,? Also when you look you have two unbeaten fighters with stoppage wins ranked below him, Just think it's a bit strange.

Flintoff at 27 surley not , i bet Frank Maloney has something todo with this ,i told everyone that Team David Price was looking for a step up in class, Flintoff v Price next

I take it you're referring to the BoxRec rankings? I'd assume the reason for his ranking is that it is computerized and based on results, and takes no account of the performance and quality of the fighter.

On paper, Flintoff beat a guy who was 2-0 (1 KO). That is a better result than many first-time fighters.

The rankings are compiled on a world basis, you can then filter them to British, Commonwealth etc etc. So you don't need to fight another Brit to be in the British ratings - all that happens is that you're put in order based on your overall world ranking.

The fact that is he an utterly terrible professional boxer, and just scraped past an opponent equally horrendous, doesn't come into it.

Flintoff and all "below" on the rankings have 0 points so i guess its in no order really - only those with points will have an order
