And if you peruse the record, it's all 'Gym' and 'Sports Complex' as the venue.

Not directly related to the topic but how does the star system work for fights on boxrec - ie how is this a 3 star fight?!!!!

exactly same move as with Hawk. the WBO, being F-wanks closest friends in the sanctioning body fraternity since the 90s, retrospectively amend their latest monthly rankings once Dean 'WBO Matchmaker of the Year' Powell has found a suitably pathetic, but willing to travel and take a slapping with no real knowledge of the recent (last few years?) issues regarding fighters receiving the owed monies promptly (or at all), opponent.

Hawk was needed because Coyle was cock blocked by King but even Coyle was required because i heard on the rumour mill that not even the welsh wanted to spend their money watching another shit defence from cleverly after the karpency debacle.

Ocampo was needed because Walsh got injured in a car accident but Walsh was a barrel scrape in itself. Got to wonder why after katsidis and Mitchell Burns was matched against Walsh? Thats not really a step up is it. Pay peanuts, get monkeys.

We've all got to grow up,including me. When you've got a champion it's all about making the most money with the least risk. If we, the mugs, continue to pay up and support these farces, they'll continue. This is why Sky stepped back , they knew the public was beginning to reject their fights, and they couldn't get the fights they wanted. They wouldn't have accepted Skelton for Price or Ocampo for Burns.
Until we stop buying into this nonsense it'll continue.

If Matchroom had gotten David Price, and they tried, they would of made Skelton out to be a monster fight. Sky had Frampton V Molitor with a poor card as a main event not that long back and Darren Barker V Kerry Hope as a headliner(I know pull outs) but compared to the Price V Skelton cards, they are about the same.

Burns needs a new opponent now, Ocampo has pulled out.

The Belfast card would have been good if the Selby-Lyndsey fight went ahead and Moliter was a replacement for Martinez it looked like a good replacement it was just a shame Molitor was more shot then most thought.No excuse for putting Mckloskey on the bill through DD
