What are the nominations for British fights of the year, apparently Crolla v Farrell was cracker as good as Matthews v Crolla??

crolla v matthews for me just beating walsh v appleby. but live im torn between jason welborn v scott haywood mids title and english title fight josh warrington v chris male both were wars and value for money fights.

Walsh vs Appleby? I thought that was 2011. That was a good one though Simpson v Appleby was good this year.. well a good performance for Simpson.
I've not seen Welborn vs Haywood and can't remember the other will check it out.

I've not seen the Crolla fight.. Simpson v Appleby was good Ronnie Clark v Ryan Walsh is surely a contender and Burns v Mitchell for how good burns was.

Quigley v Ochieng NO QUESTION! Notable Crolla v Matthews, Crolla v Farrell
By British do both fighters have to be British or is it just on British soil? If the latter
Matthews v Marsili and Brook v Jones both deserve a mention

I was at the crolla farrell fight last night and it was something else, the best fight I've ever been sat ringside for,they both went at it, no quarter given or asked for, what a fight and the atmospher was very very good and thankfully kieran is ok and being released from hospital tomorrow

Curtis, you looked like you'd put a bit of winter weight on when you were interviewed last night.
D How much over are you, out of interest?
Also, good to hear Kieran is on the path to wellness. Are his injuries career threatening or do you not know/can't say? Brain bleeds are never good.

Why do you think that Haye-Chisora should be a contender? There were no two way exchanges or momentum swings, Haye boxed conservatively off the back foot, and Chisora plodded after him while landing nothing significant.

Uhh Haye boxed off that back foot ? As he always does? And Chisora came after him trying to knock him out but Haye kayoed him for the first time in his career. More than Vitali did.
That's good quality for a Hw fight and a lock in for a Brit foty icontender .

It may be good quality for a heavyweight fight, but it doesn't compare to any of the other fights listed herein, and it certainly shouldn't be named fight of the year.
Chisora came forward but landed nothing, there were no momentum shifts or quality exchanges, and there was no drama until the final round. Each to their own, but I don't see why the fight deserves a mention in this thread.

Sorry I believe it was a good domestic fight but if you believe others were on a different plain fine by me. I nominate it , others may not.

I don't fight till late feb so I'm a bit heavier than I'd like! Don't really know the ins and outs about kieran but he's chatting away on twitter so that's a great sign

think it was a great night and looked forward to it for weeks
