He looks well - he's settled into the weight and has worked hard. I hope he gets the win tonight.

I bet big on him to win on points, after seeing him at the last weigh in vs Pac @ 9/1 or 10/1, last time. I'm still pissed off now at what happened there. Haven't put a decent chunk on anything since.

Just seen a quote from Roach saying Marquez doesnt look natural?? look at the difference in the pic and the time scale. You could put 5 times more muscle on that that with correct diet and training. Its not as hard to pack muscle on as some people seem to believe, When you've got your diet bang on and not been out on piss all time you can pack on a few pound easily of muscle over a few month never mind a year.

Unless there's evidence to the contrary I'd imagine he's worked hard and done some weights; not everyone runs to the steroids to put 2 or 3 pounds of muscle on.

Maybe, but still its a massive time gap, theres that many supplements and with proper training, its still easily done. Especially with the money and rescources these will have, Iv trained older people and had good results with limited time and money for them to achieve there desired goal.

lol, Fair enough. I think pacs weight rise does looks more on top than marquez's tbh,but like i said its easily done natural.

Don't get me wrong, I'm perfectly aware of that - I'm 41 and train 6 times a week, so know what's possible (though it undoubtedly gets harder), but given Marquez was already a full-time professional competing at world level and never achieved that 'hard' look before I'm sceptical. While I accept he could have been hitting the weights in a way he wasn't before and dieting in a way he hasn't before, given the company he's been keeping I reserve the right to be a cynic in this regard.

Marquez has probably just changed his training routine he clearly did some more weights for the last one, and actually looked more like the puncher of the two.

My main concern is that packing that extra muscle he is going to have less stamina, muscle burns oxygen very quickly, which is why long distance runners are so skinny, minimal muscle and huge heart to carry the oxygen.

Pacman looks a little tight at the weight to me, looks much less healthy than before.

I've got a feeling Marquez is going to do him this time, I think he's going to go for the KO - it's his last shot. I think he has a burning desire to win, and I'm not sure Pacman does any more, he has one foot in politics now, and just doesn't seem the vicious killer he once was.

Alex Dilmaghani trains and knows him and he said he works a lot on strength work, plyometrics. Drinks a lot of hydration drinks, protein aswell. He's always had good generics so I think this look is achievable

I love the way people are trying to start casting doubts over Marquez. His last three fights were at Light Welter. He could have been working on putting that muscle on.

Also, lets not forget Pacquiao was fighting at a higher weight class every fight recently. He won a version of a Light Middleweight title at at some stage.
