Best prospect in Scotland

Saw John Thain again on Saturday and he's the best young prospect in Scotland. Very good jab, very fit, intelligent, quick and a decent lad which will do him no harm. What about a Scottish light middleweight fight against Kris Carslaw? Come on Mr Gilmour, how about it, in Paisley Town Hall?

I am a massive fan of John Thain was also there on Saturday and it was a master class. Only thing he lacks is power, I think he would be best going up to middleweight maybe even Super Middleweight. If he could find the power I don't think there is anything that could stop him going all the way.. I think he would struggle with Carslaw at the minute would be a good fight though

John is a really good boxer and almost everything come off the jab. Moving up in weight wouldn't bring Thain a lot more power and would probs slow down his most effective punches. He's could move up to middle in a few years but never super middle. Thain beats Carslaw if they box. Both guys box mid range and this would benifit John as Kris likes to counter punch from the southpaw stance. I simple 1 2 would frustrate Carslaw and Thain would take a close fight on Points.

Best prospects are Jon Slowey and Matthew McAllister. The Shark aint too bad either.

Slowey kind of in the same boat lacks power but a big prospect.. I've not seen Mathew Mcallister so can't say.. I believe Ronnie "The Shark" Clark is the next big thing but he is my brother so I'm maybe a bit biased ha.. But on Saturday he even shocked me speed movement power was frightening. This guy had never been down in any amateur or pro fights and Ronnie was devastating. Things looking good for Scottish boxing

This has been his busiest year so far been out 4 times so thats good for him but my view he likes to mix it a bit to much for a tall boxer maybe next year he will end up on shows down south if theres no big shows up here i think hes on good wages from FW so he will put him on down there against one of his other fighters

A british elimanatot with Joe Selkirk would make a cracking 50/50 fight. Both guys managed and promoted by Warren both similar record so could happen.
