As the Million Dollar Tournament Champion, Roberto Duran may fight for any title that he wishes. If he decides to fight for the WBC strap, then Benny Leonard will be skipped over.

If Duran does activate his title shot, then he will have to drop his minor titles.

Ricardo Lopez would like to fight for a title if he is eligible. If not, he will take on anyone.

WTF and IBO will be newly contested this week as Duran has dropped them to step into the big time.

Once all fights are made, Commish's will assign these less worthy belt contests as deemed appropriate.

Duran will face Conn for 3 major belts.

Billy Conn, being the man's man that he is, accepts a fight with 'Clean' Gene Tunney to settle all matters of controversy. While this is a "volunteer" defense, Mr. Conn will be obliged to face the remaining champions: Duran (WTF/WBC), Pep (Lonsdale), etc. if he is fortunate enough to win. If he happens to fail, he hopes that Tunney will do the gentlemanly thing and face the remaining champions. This fight is for pride and pride alone.

And stablemate Marcel Cerdan wants a fight with Joe Frazier.

Does this mean that Duran will be proclaimed champion, whilst Conn goes ahead with his honour fight?

Please feel free to award your Titles straight into the hands of Roberto Duran. We request that the Lonsdale and the WBC also be donated to Roberto in order to save your guys heartache. It would be a shame for Roberto to end the careers of such valiant warriors. This is a once in a lifetime opportunity, just hand them straight over and we'll here no more about it. It's the honourable thing to do, follow the great example set by Billy Conn

Wait, I thought I could wait a week to defend my belts? Doesnt it say I have until week 28 to defend ANY of my titles? That means I have a week to do a non-mandatory defense. We have how many weeks left? Three? Surely we can proclaim the undisputed champion by week 30. If I am mistaken, then I may as well fight Duran then. If I am not, I'm facing Gene Tunney.

As I undestand it, Duran has the option to step up to any champion of his choosing this week based on his win of the MDT.

Conn would be well served by accepting the challenge.

Conn's options? Well I suppose they are as follows:

1. Refusal to face Duran. (This could end up having Conn stripped of at least one belt ( the belt that Duran wishes to vye for) so that Duran could fight a "newly named opponent" for the belt of his choosing.

2. Acceptance. Conn accepts this rather sensible fight.

3. Dropping of all belts, forcing Duran to choose which belt he would fight for.

Personally? This close to the end.....I'd like to see us all plaly nice, but as commish I will duely process any/all decisions made by any manager. A commish's job can be complex at times. I hope we keep it simple.

I'll risk losing one belt, to defend the others against Gene Tunney. The winner, I propose face Duran in week 28.

Ketchel will defend against his mandatory.

Based on the shameless cowardice that HH has shown, I believe Duran has done the right thing. Conn and Tunney (hopefully) will face off for the 3 belts....and Duran will face off for the WBC....and PERHAPS we may get ourselve a champion by seasons end if anyone shows a speck of cajones.

I expect that the Lonsdale champion will need to put a whuppin on whomever floats to the top of this turdpile.

Pep wants to unify the Lonsdale with one of Conn's dropped belts against Duran. Just because Conn is too scared to take on Duran, doesn't mean that we can't start bringing the belts together.
