Amir Khan - Any changes...

Be interesting to see if he has made any changes to his style this weekend. I like his style a lot and think it may do him good building on his great speed and attack. Anything other than a convincing win would not look too great for him as Molina is not a big puncher.

A changed in attitude would be the biggest improvement he could make and thats unlikely .
I dont see how he can ever come back properly someone should pull the plug before he is seriously hurt.
My opinion wont change regardless of his result against Molina the next time he comes up against anyone near the level he aspires to
the same thing will happen.(Wind him up wait for reckless assault hit him on the button win fight).

Call me short sighted but Khan for me, should simply stick to what he does best; get in, get his shots off and get on his bike like he did against for Kotelnik so splendidly for 12 rounds.

Don't stand there, trade and have a macho war with his opponent. He has the engine, speed and workrate to do this so effectively but simply lacks the discipline.

Exactly but he is a multi millionaire who's whole family are dependent on him and have massaged his ego so much that he has the gaul to ask Roach to ditch Chavez jnr and Pacman to concentrate on him this following on from him not listening to Roach and getting sparked out!!!!It will take a miracle to instill discipline in him now maybe Hunter can but i doubt it. Amir if he had remained grounded and listened would be a match for most fighters at 140 given the skills he has .But there is a bloody great blueprint on how to beat him
and unless he has a personality transplant some one will always lull him in and POW.... He will do his dance you reap what you sow look past the guy in front of you call out people you have not earnt the right to fight and people will laugh when you get your come uppance.

There is of course the (in)famous story that after Limmond Oliver was giving Khan a dressing down when members of his family and subsequently extended family came pouring in to say what a great fight it was...

Maybe the big American networks would not pay him the big bucks if he did a Gatti, become a runner, just to get wins!

But that's his new plan isn't it?

tick tock until the next time he gets KO'd. There's a reason he hasn't rematched Breidy Prescott... he'd get ktfo again.

I probably won't watch the Molina fight for the same reason i would never bother tuning into to watch Roger Federer face some guy ranked 140 in the first round of a grand slam.

I'm not sure where Khan goes from here, alot of big punchers in his division right now, i can only imagine the splattering he'd likely get from someone like Matthysee or Rios, let alone a Garcia rematch.

Pull the plug ? Are you hoping he retires ?

Yes before he gets hurt.

If he got ko'd by non punchers I'd agree abit, his still young and still learning, if anything he became world champion to early, let's see how his next fight and 2013 goes for him !

He's lost three fights, two to journeymen and another against a pretty run of the mill top 10 opponent.

All three are guys who ought to be beaten by a fighter with such vaunted ability as Khan is reputed to have.

He just ain't that good I'm afraid. Good, but not that good.

That's your opinion and I respect that. I believe he will be world champion again next year and defend it a few times, nothing will supprise me though but that's why I like watching him :TU:

Can't see what khan can do to change??
He can only go back to the style he chose against kotlenick were he circled on the outside with high hands.no trainer can give you ring savvy, that is natural or gained in quality sparring in what he has already had.
I remember buddy mgirt reinventing gatti, but I can't see what you can add to khan

People overuse the word journeyman. Precott was unbeaten, and for all his shortcomings he can punch. Many think amir won the Peterson fight, and Lamont was later found out to be taking a banned steroid.
They aren't the top fighters in the division, but amir is not a bum for losing those fights, look at the people he has beaten! He beat kotelnik in better fashion than anybody else had, and he beat maidana in a war!
he is a very good fighter, with very big flaws!

To call Prescott and Peterson journeymen is a little harsh.
Prescott's record is not as bad as it looks and to call Peterson that is just laughable. He maybe other things but he aint a journeyman.

Plus if Khan lost to these so called journeymen, what the hell does that make him?

Journeymen is laughable and shows you up for just really not liking Khan.

I'm not his biggest fan but Peterson is a legit contender and top 10 guy in the division, and Garcia can clearly bang and is unbeaten so how do you know what his level is yet?

Prescott is limited but he's very rangy and has excellent power, all of Khan's losses are plausible given his style and his flaws but I think you're being very harsh on his opponents.
