Same here I think it is great that Price is clearing out the domestic Heavyweight division before going onto major honours at European and World level. Sprott is always in shape and comes to rumble so would give Price a few things to think about in the early rounds, but Price's youth, size and power from that right hand will end it in the later rounds (oh and the body punching as well), and then takes out Chisora.

If Price was fighting once every two months I would have no problem with Sprott getting another nice payday.

I hope Sprott has looked after his money and retires a wealthy man.

Seems strange that people keep wanting Price to fight these bums, why not want him to fight some credible ranked opponents ? what we gonna learn from him fighting Fraudleys and Skelitons of this world ?
Lets see him fight some of Fury's opponents like Kingpin or Chisora ,that way we would be able to gage how good Price is, and see if there is that much of gap between him and Fury :bag:

He's fighting Tony Thompson in February!

I hope David Price doesn't acquire Frank Bruno's phone number! :witzend:

If he is going to fight a Briton, then Chisora is the best bet (outside of a Fury fight which isn't happening anytime soon), otherwise, he needs to look at the European scene with the intention of building up to a world title challenge in 2013.

Price should wait until he has to fight a mandatory challenger before he defends his British title again. Sprott might be the next mandatory challenger if Fury declines.

Only because Chisora doesn't punch hard. Still would be dreadfully one sided.

I disagree, I'd have it a close fight.

Chisora v Sprott. Winner takes on Price for the belt. Gives Price the chance to fight Thompson then, assuming he doesn't get obliterated, he has the chance to win the Lonsdale outright before moving on.

BUt Chisora will need to get licensed by the Board of Control first after his antics in Munich... But I am sure allegedly will sweet talk Robert Smith et al into getting Chisora back his licence, once that happens I like the look of those match ups and I can't see Thompson beating David Price at all.

The only domestic fights I want to see price in is against fury and thats not happening, Haye (won't happen) or Chisora. Price needs to fight Thompson then carry on at that level. A fight with sprott would only give the cynics more ammo against price

I think Price will beat him but Thompson could make it interesting. Also the question mark over Pricey and taking a shot off a decent heavyweight.

I think Price would win well but it is not a bad fight for him, a decent step up.

This is a man the got sparked out by Audley with one working arm and you think it's a good fight for Price at this stage.

Price really needs to step up the level of competition soon
