Adam "The Bomber" Etches

I watched Adam Etches again last night, seen him a few times now, and he seems to be a real talent. For me he is the man who could derail Chris Eubank Jnr. He has very heavy hands, decent skills and a good work rate. Off the top of my head I think he's 11-0 with 9 KOs, which is some record, although I do realise he is yet to face real quality opposition. That is an exciting division now at all levels, and I reckon there are some good big fights ahead!
Also on the bill last night, Scott Jenkins won a comprehensive points victory in an impressive display, as did debutant Atif Shafiq. All Sheffield lads, all went well.

Agreed, he seems to want the fight.
Yes Eubank has the better skills but Etches already has power.
Would love to see that in 2013 Poxon and Hennessy need to make this!!

Etches has already said he'd knock Eubank out and he'd take the fight against him now - Get it made

He really needs to step up now fighting a journeyman and having a 10Ib weight advantage over him isn't really learning him nothing and is hardly the right preparation for Eubanks who I don't rate highly but is active and getting good experience and rounds in the bank

Video of Adam's fight from last night. The light wasn't brilliant so the video could be better but you get the gist.

Looks raw and powerfull, to much high risk low reward for Eubank to take at this stage of his career

Although a big puncher i cant, at this stage see Adam beating Eubank, Liam Cameron or John Ryder. All 3 look like good technicians and i could see Adam having trouble gettin it on 'em and while his technique has improved since the ams i dont think he will be able to open them up for his big shots.

Eubanks shouldn't be mentioned in the same breathe as Ryder

We have several people who could derail Eubank. His best win was against a puffed up welterweight in Bradley Pryce who took the bout at short notice and best days were behind him. The one good thing with Eubank is that they are keeping him busy.
Also, tried watching the link of Etches v McCauley but it wouldn't load, and stopping Kevin is a very good result at this stage.
