Brook and Murray to lose. Not sure of the rest. It depends on who they fight.

Nice piece but Supple picking Price to beat a Klitschko is a bit of a stretch and a good example of how us British boxing fans love to back the "less fashionable" fighter over the one who is seen to be getting the "breaks". Thus Fury is criticised routinely, yet nobody has a bad word to say about Price fighting three 40+ guys back to back. He looks a great prospect, of course, but the leap from who he's been fighting up to either Klitschko is absolutely enormous and there is nothing yet to suggest Price could beat them.

I don't disagree with the gist of your post, Oliver, but I'm convinced that Vitali is there for the taking. I think he knows this himself which is why he's been matched uber-cautiously for quite some time. If he doesn't retire sharpish, someone will blast him out.

P.S. Frankie G needs to be careful. If he steps it up in 2013 he should have workrate tattooed on the inside of his eyelids. He's one who could come unstuck on a decision purely because he's coasted.

Given that in the next year Fury, Price, DeGale and Groves will all be stepping up into facing World class opponents on a consistent basis you have to have them as favourites to lose their 0.

Brook as well will have to do incredibly well to remain undefeated in the next year and I'd go as far as to say that if he does he will be fighting unifications in 2014.

One thing guaranteed is if everyone on that list fights the best in their division they will get beat, disagree with Frankie losing to any other Welterweight with the exception of Brook and if he's busy and active him and Brook would be 50/50 in 2014

I think Frankie is the business but I think he could be his own worst enemy and earn himself a points loss in the next 12-18 months rather than have one forced upon him.

I hate to be negative at this festive time but I heavily favour Kell Brook to lose to Alexander on points in February. So if it's a question of who first then, Kell. I'd also say, Murray is going to get his ears boxed off by Sergio but full credit for taking the fight.

Frankie Gavin, good fighter but now he's stepping up a level, his dedication is there to be questioned (prove us wrong). Quigg and Frampton is the big fight at domestic that might actually happen but it could be a case of a fight that should just be left to boil for a while. Pick your winner there.

Exactly how I feel - there's a reason he's matched with fat, face-first clueless bulls he can safely spear round after round. He's there to be blasted, hence why I'd like to see Haye or Price in there with him right away.

But who else is there? He has genuinely cleaned out the division

i think brook will find out the difference between fighting at british/european level and world level when he fights alexander,he showed alot of mistakes when he fought jones and i think its too late in the day to rectify all of them.

I posted when I first joined this forum that Fury was gonna be a world champion and people laughed at me. Prepare to eat humble pie Funso Banjo Baby, 2013 is the year.
