According to his Facebook page, most likely against Chris Arreloa, assuming he gets past Stiverne, which is apparantly tonight.
Doubt it them two not fighting Feb 23rd?whicker wrote:According to his Facebook page, most likely against Chris Arreloa, assuming he gets past Stiverne, which is apparantly tonight.

There's an international silver title wtf !!!Horse wrote:Champion: Vitali Klitschko
1. Chris Arreola (US)
2. Bermane Stiverne (Canada) - WBC Silver
3. Johnathon Banks (US) - WBC International
4. Tyson Fury (GB)
5. David Haye (GB)
Arreola vs Stiverne is on 23/2/13 in a WBC Final Eliminator and Banks vs Michell II is on 16/2/13 for the WBC International.
Manuel Charr is the WBC International Silver champion. Could he be fighting Fury next?
Maybe it is Fury vs Vitali.

Well said. I completely agree with you.JLP wrote:I called this a couple of weeks back (that Fury would fight for Vitali's vacated belt) but it wasn't a particularly tricky one to foresee. BTW, I do hope it is the case that Vitali vacates and retires. The big man is a physical wreck, a shadow of what he was and more than ready to be taken by someone who wouldn't have got close a few years back. I suppose some will argue that it's better when the baton is passed with the old champ starched out and twitching on the canvas - for 'closure' - but it's always a bit of a tragic exercise, in my view.
Don't get me started. I thought until a few days ago that the WBC Silver title was had taken the place of the WBC International title and thus I didn't have a huge issue with it. Now I find out they not only still have the International title as well as the Silver title but they also have an International silver title.Naandrew wrote:There's an international silver title wtf !!!Horse wrote:Champion: Vitali Klitschko

Yeah for sure I have no issue with Fury fighting for the WBC title even the vacant one. Mick Hennessy has always targeted the WBC title with all his fighters (certainly all the ones that spring straight into my mind, Eastman, Witter, Froch etc.) For me tho I want to see Vitali in 1 fight and 1 fight only if he chooses to fight again and that is Haye.JLP wrote:James, even if Fury initally fights for one of the fee generating WBC baubles rather than the main belt, I still expect a tussle for Vitali's vacated title to be the target at some point in 2013. Vitali's ego+greed+Haye are the only things that could upset the apple-cart. Haye could beat the 2013 version of Vitali.
I agree it may be tempting purely because Fury would run his mouth to such a point. It would be similar to what happened with Chisora except with Fury possibly being more deserving of the fight.squared circle wrote:This. Read the article in last week's boxing news. He said he can't get up for any non-klitschko fight as doesn't want the pain of a training camp unless its them.
That said, i find it impossible to believe that if fury somehow got himself into position to hold the belt that he wouldn't be tempted by that.
If Haye hopes to beat Fury then he better get into fifth gear. Fury will smash Haye up if they fight.fightfaninfrance wrote:Despite the fact he is a spotlight seeking prima donna, is there anyone on here that thinks Haye wouldn't rip the title away from Fury without getting out of 3rd gear.

Haye lost against Valuev (on a lot of people's scorecards) and lost almost every round against Wladimir. The best legitimate opponent that Haye has clearly beaten at heavyweight is Chisora and Fury has beaten him clearly as well.lillywhite14 wrote:Haye would ave an absolute field day with Fury. A tall, stand up guy who generally moves backwards and forwards, not particularly fast on his feet, without the power to trouble him? Tailor made for Haye.
He would blast him out in style. Different levels. Same with Price, although Price carries a lot more power he is more fragile than Fury and I think Haye would beat Price quicker than he would Tyson.
Either way, I don't envisage Haye tempting Wlad back to the ring unless he beats Vitali and revenge for the brother is the order of the day.
wow, except Jim Watt and a few numptys who don`t know how to score a fight Haye was the clear winner of the Valuev fight and Monte Barret didn`t have Haye in trouble,Haye slipped and Barret hit him clean when he was on the floor only for Haye to knock him out minutes later.Fury lost to Mcdermott for fucksake by most peoples scorecard.I think you are in the minority in thinking Fury would have a chance.Haye is the third best heavyweight in the world imo, just a shame he hasn`t proved it by beating the like of Poteviken and Arreola like he could of doneHorse wrote:Haye lost against Valuev (on a lot of people's scorecards) and lost almost every round against Wladimir. Fury will descimate Haye, that is just the way it is. Fury doesn't have the power to trouble Haye? Barrett had Haye in trouble, so Fury has a good chance of stopping Haye.
I scored the fight to Valuev. Haye was not impressive in that fight.ashedward wrote:wow, except Jim Watt and a few numpys who don`t know how to scorea fight Haye was the clear winner of the Valuev fight and Monte Barret didn`t have Haye in trouble,Haye slipped and Barret hit him clean when he was on the floor only for Haye to knock him out minutes later.Fury lost to Mcdermott for fucksake by most peoples scorecard.I think you are in the minority in thinking Fury would have a chance.Haye is the third best heavyweight in the world imo, just a shame he hasn`t proved it by beating the like of Poteviken and Arreola like he could of done
