I congratulate Mr. Tunney on his victory, as does my stablemate Marcel Cerdan congratulate Dubilio Loi on his victory, and I hope that Mr. Tunney will be a man of his word and fight Roberto Duran for the unified championship of the world, and with that I declare on behalf of myself and Marcel, we step out of this tournament of champions and all time greats and wish the best for everyone involved. We are officially "retired".

You should at least give Conn the honor of being abandoned after a win.

Kind of pointless, when there's only a few weeks remaining and its all about unifying the titles now. Its not like Conn has the shot of regaining the championship now. Its a little too late.
