Was Orlando ever down. I know Gaby was against Lora, but I don't think Orlando was. That's how Gaby could win at the top level--he could punch. If you could take his punches (Chandler, Perez, Pinango), you could win pretty easily.

Was Orlando ever down. I know Gaby was against Lora, but I don't think Orlando was. That's how Gaby could win at the top level--he could punch. If you could take his punches (Chandler, Perez, Pinango), you could win pretty easily.

Good question on Orlando. I don't remember seeing him go down, but I wouldn't swear it never happened. Seabrooks could punch and those fights were wars, although they were ultimately one-sided in favor of Canizales. As champion at 118 he didn't fight a lot of big hitters, but at 122 he went the distance with Vasquez and Junior Jones, and both of those guys could put you down for the count.
