Was literally just about to create a new topic on this. Deary me! I just don't understand why he is carrying on. Apparently he owns a couple of nice properties in the US and has plenty of money in the bank so what's the point!

Well, it is prizefighter, a format he excels at for a load of money. He has been finished as a
serious fighter for quite some time.

I just don't get why he puts himself through it, the bloke just doesn't like to get hit (I don't either, but I aint a pro boxer).
He is actually like a playground bully, he showed the last time he was in Prizefighter that when he is in a situation where he is 100% sure that he will win then he looks a million dollars and is actually quite ruthless, however if he thinks that the other fella might hit him back then he doesn't want to know.
It is a lot of money for me, but surely he can't be that skint ? - also, he is still a decent name with the general public and I wonder if he gets additional sponsorship money in his back pocket ?

Ticking-over moneymaking opportunity for both Audley and Matchroom

This could be the worst of the heavyweight prizefighters, most of them are over the hill and haven't been in a good fight for a while, my prediction is a hugfest

Travis Walker is a half-decent name at Prizefighter level.
Remember seeing his fight vs Adamek on Eurosport a few months back - it was a very entertaining scrap and he had his moments (potentially dropping Adamek, can't remember exactly).

Audley carries on because he mugs people, I'm trying to think of the correct word but cannot so ill use 'fans', he mugs his fans and takes their money to sit and watch him. He's no idiot, he's a businessman that's all. Stop paying and he will fade away.

So was I.
To be fair, I aint got anything against Audley fighting in stuff like this. Prizefighter aint some big serious tournament. I don't think hardcore fans take it particularly seriously.
Audley isn't going world champion level, let's face it. The fight against David Haye was very undeserved. He wasn't even favourite when he fought David Price.
But in 3-rounders, mixing with has-beens, and a few inexperienced guys trying to make a name for themselves, I really have no problem with Audley being there. Even if he wins, nobody is going to start thinking he's the real deal. Put him in with somebody on the up, and they could make a name for themselves. Put him in with Rogan, and you at least have a 50/50 fight.

I'm going big on Lewison unless I find out that he hasn't been training hard. The Prizefighter format is right up his street, if his conditioning is on point.

Albert Sosnowski is expected to be included. Ian Lewison and Travis Walker are the other 2 names to be included thus far.

Travis Walker is hardly ever in a boring fight. His short fight against Chris Arreola was full of action a few years back. I also enjoyed his fight against Adamek and his 2 fights against TJ Wilson. Big puncher with a poor chin and questionable stamina. I'm looking forward to it

Currently in Australia went to see a big bash 20 20 cricket game at gabba last week Brisbane v Melbourne stars i think. Warne was playing well past his best dropped a sitter refused to run for another catch. Point is the biggest crowd Brisbane got this year was against Warne team most there too slag him off. Audley past it or never was but for some reason people still will watch him mainly to slag him off.

Can I just say if all heavies were as willing to throw a big straight right hand as Walker & as unwilling or unable to get out of the way of return fire...
Er, I'd watch a lot more heavyweight boxing.
His fight with that big Samoan dude where he got robbed was class too, particularly when said Samoan ran out of gas & got the living shit kicked out of him before the hometown ref pulled a bullshit stoppage. & he had Adamek on
queer street with one right hand; Vitali never made Adamek's legs do that. Serious puncher. Seriously vulnerable.
What's not to like? I'll watch him...

Redemption. Destiny. I'm certain that these two words will make an appearance in Audley's reasons as to why he's carrying on.
I actually hope he wins this and then maybe he can bow out gracefully without further making a laughing stock of himself.

Who will be added next, Sprott and Danny Williams? Maybe Dallas and Skelton?
I still watch the Prizefighter tournaments but lately found myself not really interested in the outcome. They're starting to become a rehash of previous versions.
Audley coming in for this is pretty much a joke.

Wow 2 Prizefighters in 2 months guess we no how Eddie plans on filling his 20 show deal, I've got no problem with Prizefighter but there should only be 2 or 3 a year, the formats gone stale the heavyweight tournament has been done to death. The only thing that makes this show appealing is Thomas Stalker making his debut.

Is Lewison any good? Just looking at his record and see that Colin Kenna beat him to record his first win in something like 3.5 years.

Eddie said he's planning on holding approximately 4 Prizefighters this year. That doesn't seem too bad.

I no he said that but the fact that there is 2 in 2 months makes me think that there will be more
