Would be perfect for me if it was at the O2. Reckon I'd shell out for ringsides as well as I wouldn't have the usual travel and accommodation costs. Bring it on!

Yeah I don't think Kessler fancied the fight in Nottingham and tbh am happy I hate boxing shows in stadiums loses the majority of the atmosphere I'd rather it be somewhere like the o2 or preferably for the Manchester Arena, It's a great fight but I think it will need a big undercard to compensate for the fact that this marks the return of Sky Box Office

The Nottingham arena's capacity is ~10,000 or something. The 02 is double that, I suspect that had a hand in it also.

Eddie alluded to it on his end of year review on Iflilm London that in order for the big fights to happen in England that they would have to be on Sky Box Office

I say it now, froch WTKO8 - think he's going to stick it on Kessler early this time around, and keep up the pressure. I think Froch has improved quite a bit since the first fight, whereas Kessler doesn't look quite the same fighter, injuries have taken their toll.

This is going to be great - cannot wait!

I interviewed Eddie Hearn the other day and he implied that only two british fights are PPV fights, Froch Kessler and Brook v Khan. Does this mean though that sky would make it box office?

Notts County is meadow lane

And no he wouldnt be crucified if he boxed at meadow lane , the reaction would be pretty much exactly the same , the grounds are both right next to each other and Forest and County dont have a bad relationship , of course they are rivals they are neighbouring clubs but not in the way that the old firm is , Notts Countys biggest rivals are Chesterfield and Mansfield in recent times , Forest have a far greater hatred of Derby .

A fight at meadow lane would be perfectly fine as far as football rivalrys but.... the real problem in my opinion is its on the edge of the meadows estate so would maybe put off (or incite ) people from other parts of the city such as St Annes etc a City Ground bout is far safer , it may only be the other side of the river but that bit of water seperates The meadows from the more pleasant West Bridgford area .

Derby County are the big rivals of Forest......so it would be Pride Park that would be the least desirable venue.

Ringside if this comes off. I always wanted to watch Froch fight, but couldn't be doing with the drive to Nottingham, finding somewhere to stay etc. Now I just have to get the tube.

Yeah, alright I'll take the criticism. Well, to be fair, the main issue is getting mates to come with me. I don't want to drive to Nottingham and stay in a travel tavern on my own. It'd be a bit depressing. London, my mates will be well up for it. The people going to Buenos Airies clearly have better paid jobs than me!
