BT to buy allegedly?

The article in the Independant from yesterday suggests BT may be looking to buy allegedly.

I wonder how diligent the due diligence will be if an executive director of Boxnacion is holding BT's rubber-stamp? Not our problem. This can only be a good thing for the existing Boxnacion shareholders. The risk is on the brink of paying off for them. Fair play.

Wow, yet another thread on this channel from the OP.
Doesn't sound right, somehow. A man using the funds of a company he's employed by to acquire another of which he's a director? Could be legit, of course...

Unless Simon Green is a director of BT, the conflict of interest would be unlikely to matter. I think.

Won't it be more a case that BT will buy out the content that allegedly currently has, rather than buying and rebranding BN as a BT channel? The live and/or original content on the channel amounts to a maximum of 10-12 hours a week when there are 2 live shows, so it doesn't make much sense for BT, who are going large on football but will not be devoting a whole channel to it, to dedicate an entire channel to Boxing.
The BN boxing content with Warren, european action and some GBP fights (not all or exclusive otherwise they would surely have shown Khan v Molina, as an example) would be a decent starting point. Throw in a professionally produced and presented Buncey show and it would be attractive.

Sounds plausible in comparison to a dedicated channel.
