Tis a tough one to call. Thompson probably favorite but not sure this format will suit him. Will check the odds on Gaynor and Foot but it's really wide open with a couple of unknown quantities included. Can't see Hunt or Pearce progressing too far without a favorable draw either. Will be an interesting watch for sure.

Never easy to predict and the draw tends to have a massive impact on the competition.
However I expect Thompson to have too much for his rivals on the night.

I'm hoping he grasps this opportunity to show a wider audience his talent. A good win could open up the door to bigger and better things. It has it's critics but the prizefighter competition has worked wonders for quite a few careers.

Reckon They Should Put Yafai On After Second Semi Final. Give Boxer More Time To Recover.Too Many Past Prizefighters 2nd Semi Winner Done In. And Nowt To Give In Final.For Me Thompson.

i went to ladbrokes around 3ish and put £10 on foot at 4/1 - he is now at 3/1 there. but he is 9/2 at betfred, and we have one of those in my town

quite looking forward tot his now. it's good when their is local interest, and it seems there are lots of young, hungry guys there. surprised to see evans odds so low - dont know much about him at all. gaynor at 6 look ok

The bookies reckon it will then be

Gaynor V Foot

Thompson has def got a favourable root being on first - much more rest time should he get to the final. foot/gaynor will have just had their semi and will have to pretty much go straight into the final. But atleast my man will still be in it for atleast an hour

Probably the worst Prizefighter yet(as in well known names),thats not to say it wont be exciting but im starting to think Eddies drinking the well dry but he needs to fill those TV dates somehow,i just think that 95% of boxers will only compete in 1 Prizefighter so i think theyve used most of the bigger names and i know there will always be some big name fighters willing to compete but if the tournaments keep coming thick and fast like last year the quality will suffer.there should only be about 3 a year in my humble opinion

i know what you mean, but would rather have this kind of line up than a bunch of ainscoughs etc. i think a relative domestic star will be born tomorrow...

yeah i hope your right its just that ive seen every Prizefighter and i usually know at least 4 of them but i only know Mark Thompson this time but yeh i agree just because iv not heard of anyone doesnt mean theres no quality there

Nice root for Thompson. He will stop Hunt I reckon.

Mark will win this . He can bang pretty hard, takes a good shot and as he proved out in germany can box when requried too.

I think he'll KO Hunt (whos been down a few times) sharpish and have a nice wait till the semis.

I'm hoping Thompson does it, he should be too much for Hunt in the 1/4 finals, I hope he just sticks to boxing instead of trying to blast Hunt out, as this can wear Thompson out more. There is usually a surprise package in the Prizefighter nights, and maybe Glenn Foot will be this one.

yes the ABA one was a good fight, he was like a machine in that one, i couldn't see him working at that rate through all 3 matches if he got to the final though. i've seen quite a few of his pro fights and he has impressed so far.

I wouldnt discount Dale Evans. His power is going to be tricky for anyone to handle.
