Do we know when we are going to hear if he has his licence back?

Robert Smith confirmed that he had been told the application had hit his desk the night Buncy interviewed him on his show, think may be almost two weeks ago off the top of my head. Not sure how long the process will take from then? You wouldn't think four weeks but who knows......

Good interview by the way, interesting topics covered. Smith, as geerally, came across well IMO

He'll get his licence because they will want a high profile name like chisora fighting for the lonsdale and im sure theres a fair amount of pressure to get him in the ring with Price.

Do you think the board will carry the ban a bit longer, just to try and prove a point.

Not that I'm defending him or anything. But I do like him as a fighter and want to see him again. Just rewatched the Helenius fight only last night. Every time I see Helenius on a heavyweight top ten list it irks me, because Chisora clearly beat him. I'm looking forward to seeing who he gets put in with to rebuild.

I understand that, but the comment isn't libellous in any legal sense. Accusing him of having beaten up more than one woman doesn't affect his reputation significantly more than having been convicted of beating up one.

I think if the Board give Chisora his licence back, questions need to be asked, but not with Chisora.

After the withdrawal of Chisora's and Hatton's licences, tough, rhetorical words were espoused by the Board, and now we get U turns.

I think the Board needs to re-examine its principles, and be reminded of them, but in the absence of this, can't they say that "Money Talks".

A Chisora - Helenius rematch would be great, especially if it was in England.

But would Helenius fancy it? He was clearly beaten last time, there is no reason for him to take the fight.

End of the day if we banned all boxers with "previous" we wouldnt be left with much. He did wrong, hes been banned. Lets move on.

At the end of the first fight Helenius looks pretty sure he's won, smiling and raising his hand etc. I don't suppose he's changed his opinion much and probably feels he'd do better in a rematch.

You have to wonder what Chisora's recent run of fights have taken out of him. Helenius has only fought once since they met, whereas Chisora has been beaten over 12 by Vitali and stopped by Haye.

Why would it be "great" for him to have a rematch with Helenius? Helenius is going nowhere and is not a good watch. Dereck would either go there and get outpointed again or somehow force a win and then what? Dereck is clearly not good enough to win big fights above domestic level. In fact, he's not proven he can win big fights at domestic level. A rematch with Fury and/or a match with Price would be of far greater interest, in my view.

Chisora is one more loss away from being a stepping stone at best, he will get the usual easy comeback fight i think, then Warren will either think about carefully moving him back into contention, or cash in quick with another fight against a contender that will be the end of Chisora.

The only fight I'm interested in seeing him in a against Price,more to see how Price is progressing. Can't take to his arrogant manner to be honest.
