Well time will tell I suppose, but I feel Arthur has a lot to prove to the Boxing world after the Gomez lose.

I remember readind an interview with J Fortune about that stck body beating technique with relation to Pac-Mans wins over Barrera, sound very painfull. :x

Reading the article it almost felt like Roache was testing Arthur a bit to see how much he really wants to be a fighter, just a thought.

I don't know who Alex Arthur's PR man is, but he's worth every penny. I've never known a man to secure so much copy.

Too true bennie. Arthur also never seems short of things to say in the interviews, however, he has many questions hovering over him that can only be answered in the ring.

That in mind, I genuinely hope he finds some sort of success (above domestic) during his career as he's a very approachable guy in real life who will answer all your questions. But if he ain't good enough he ain't good enough.

I winced when Buncie said on the Beeb last night, there are two excellent super-feathers in this country: Gomez and Arthur. Craig Docherty deserved a mention.

True. I'm sure Steve Bunce is so much in love with his fast/straight talking profile that sometimes he doesn't really think before he speaks! He's sorted a great career for himself though. He's on the Beeb all the time at the minute, both TV and radio.

Yea I was impressed with how Craig Docherty dealt with adversity in his last fight at Bellahouston. Having a nasty cut from early on while there is a largely unknown opponent - who's not afraid to let his hands go - coming at you must be a bit wearing :x

Showed the determination of a fighter that night. I also like how he has seemingly moved on from the Gomez loss. Looks like he got back in the gym straight away, knuckled down and got on with his career without letting it overwhelm him. Now will it be the same for Alex Arthur...
