From today - Kimbo Slice vs hard hitting Aussie journeyman Shane Tilyard, really
enjoyable scrap! :TU:

Great fight.

Say what you want about Kimbo, but he's been in some very entertaining boxing and MMA matches.

I was surprised they picked Tilyard because if he lands - he can knock his opponent
out but he is 'hit or be hit' Here is his most celebrated fight vs Thor Hoopman.

If Tilyard had been fitter, he would have KO'd Slice, I think Kimbo is more suited to
boxing than MMA - I wonder if he is staying down under for awhile?

Limbo is obv an all action fighter, fun to watch, in fairness prob has decent heart and offensive skills, but his level was really highlighted here.
Imagine if he fought a fella with a jab!
And his muscled physique is no good for stamina.

Tilyard gets his big fight and its going to be shown round the world, he comes in grossly out of shape!!
Why do boxers do that, it was all there for him to make a name for himself and he blew it by not being able to throw more than 2 punches before needing a breather.

Do you think he is that heavily muscled?
I reckon his age might affect his stamina! He must be well in his 40s by now.

Great fight. As much as I admire skilled boxers, there's just something entertaining watching two big guys siwinging from the fences with no concept of defence. This fight was never going to go past a couple of rounds with these guys. Kimbo knows his level so as long as he's matched accordingly will be in good fights

You could call it the 'Rock em' , Sock em' Prizefighter' , boxers that either get KO'd or score a KO.

1, Kimbo Slice
2, Matt Skelton
3, Shane Tiliyard
4, Oleg Maskaev
5, Travis Walker
6, Solomon Haumono
7, DaVarryl Williamson
8, Vinny Maddalone

Get Kimbo in the ring with Mcdermott. He would get exposed against an average boxer.

There is not really much to expose. He is a novelty fighter, thats about it.

I enjoyed that scrap. Lacking in every department apart from excitement. The boofhead he was fighting was badly out of shaper though. Slice took some serious muller as well.

This was a good heavyweight fight we need excitement like this yes they lack basic defences, leave themselves vulnerable etc but I would rather watch this regular for some entertainment good viewing ha :box:

Not a chance that Eddie would put up the money that Kimbo's team would take with the risk involved in losing his "0". They'll keep handpicking limited guys and try to keep him trundling along undefeated ala Butterbean and like him, he'd make a decent sideshow on the undercard of a PPV.

In his prime (yes, he had a prime) Butterbean would've destroyed Kimbo; now Kimbo would probably win.

The best time to make that bout would've been a few years ago when Butterbean was past it but not totally shot. It would've been fun while it lasted!
