Has the guy retired? he put a good few wins together and was on a title shot back in 2010, since then nothing. Anyone know the deal, has he left the boxing game?

Last I heard was that Jon Thaxton was training him. That was last summer (2012). Don't know what came of that. Also, what became of the fatal stabbing at his house last year?

Heard he was out of boxing due to a back injury, he was training for a comeback but I can only presume the injury has got the better of him.

he is in his 40's now and has not fought for nearly 3 years, its a shame as he was massively talented all be it fragile but he has pretty much wasted the last 10 years.
if he does come back he will end up getting knocked out off someone he would of destroyed years ago.
very interesting book not a great read but as a character im surprised he hasnt caused more headlines given his nature

Maybe the kid who was knifed to death in March 2012 at his house party has distracted his plans.

The book cracks me up still.
"I saw a girl stood at the side of the road barely dressed & as she look cold I stopped to offer her my coat & give her coffee!!
Of course Herbie.

Should have had a cruiser shot while over in Germany, but just couldn't quite keep his nose clean for long enough. I think Huck would have predictably done him. Could have notched Enzo I think though.

Of course Herbie.
my mates cousin was cautioned for curb crawling and his excuse was equally lame.
"roadworks diverted me through the red light district, and as i slowed down to take a sharp corner i rolled down my window to flick a ciggie out..well what were the chances....."

At my local Waterstones I've been repeatedly moving that book to the Fantasy section for the last few months.

Anyone hear the story of hide/williams? Apparently hide was well known for battering sparring partners. He gave williams a real going over when he first turned pro. However before hide got ko by klitscho he tried the same again but this time danny ko'd him. Any know any truth in this story?

I vaguely remember this. His prep was terrible - just basically lining up sparring partners and trying to batter them. He did get dropped. I think allegedly left the camp and couldn't believe how unprofessional and lunk-headed Hide was being.
