Do the boards have check ups to see if a boxer actually is injured/ill. Too many instances of boxer convinently pulling up to fights only to line-up a fight straight away after (Wlad-Chisora, Brook-Alexander etc). I know people like the WBC are dodgy anyways but boxer lose money, life-time opportunities etc (Chisora lost out on a lot of money, times wated training, became inactive). And Brook MAY not get a shot now, have to take a warm-up fight, with the possibility of losing and never having a shot again. Thought?

I must have missed the fight that was set up straight away by Devon Alexander straight after he pulled out with a bicep injury.

Any pull out on medical grounds has to be supported by medical evidence.
Anyone can get a doctors note ...........

Its very hard to know if someone has pulled a muscle or strained something so unlikely they can ever check

f*cking stinks for kell to be dumped, citing injuring and within 48hours Mayweather states that he's fighting Devon.

He should seek compensation, and the ibf should strip devon.

Governing bodies don't care about anything but money. You get arguments on here over which of the big four are superior, mean more, have more integrity but in all honesty each one is self-serving and preserving.

One world level organisiation would go a long way to solving all of boxing's major ills - scoring, drugs cheats, rankings, 'proper' world champions, public interest, evenly matched fights, big fights not being made, boxers rights and welfare. The single biggest issue in this sport and the least likely to be resolved
