Trent Broadhurst

Just found out Gary Shaw Promotions has taken out a contract with Terribale Trent Broadhurst, how good is this to Aussie Boxing. Go Trent ![[icon_notworthy.gif]](./images/smilies/icon_notworthy.gif)
Trent is probably a more marketable guy, but I agree with you. Berridge has proven how good he is but doesn't seem to get the rave reviews or opportunities. I would much prefer to pay to see berridge fight than SBW or CooperN2 Shape wrote:Perhaps should of cast his eye a little further to the other side of the tasman and looked at Berridge who stopped Broadhurst, got robbed against Foley and then destroyed Casey.........just saying![]()

Trent may have been winning the fight but he was never in full control IMO. I watche it always thinking in the back of my mind that he was going to get caught. I think berridge was just waiting for the opportunity and then took. In a rematch it would go the same way. Obviously Trent could prove that to be wrong by making a rematch but he doesn't seem in a hurry to do that.colin russell wrote:Gary Shaw and his people are no fool Trent Broadhurst is the main sparring for Daniel Geale. You cant put Berridge in the same profile as Broadhurst, even if Berridge got a good shot on Broadhursts chin dont forget who was winning at the time. Good on you Trent and any boxer who can get into one of the US Promoters.
Only takes one punch in boxing and Berridge landed it regardless of who was in front at the time. I think Trent is a great prospect but you can't take anything away from that victory.colin russell wrote:Gary Shaw and his people are no fool Trent Broadhurst is the main sparring for Daniel Geale.
