At middleweight, he is definitely up there. Martinez is a level above everyone else but Macklin gave him his toughest fight since his step up to 160. You're talking crap saying Martinez "carried" Macklin. Martinez is used to fighting at his own pace and controlling the fight, Macklin didn't allow him to do this. It was Macklin's stamina that let him down more than anything. In case you have forgot, Barker - Macklin was signed but Barker cried off citing an injury. At this moment in time Barker needs Macklin more than the opposite. Barker does a lot of talking but when push comes to shove he shies away.

hey im not talking crap,watch the fight again and watch after macklin thought he won the lottery off martinez gloves touchin the floor and it being ruled a knockdown,martinez turned it on after that. all this "gave him his hardest fight" crap is doing my nut in martinez was never hurt,never in trouble and looked comfortable so i dont know were the hardest fight sh1te comes from. as for barker vs macklin,yes it was signed and look what happened to barker,he was out for ages with his injury and lost his title,at present barker does need macklin more than the other way round but what about murray? why wont macklin fight murray? i know why,cause murray is a different ball game to barker and will show macklin up. just my opinion

I think its almost a certainty that one will win a world title, in fact Macklin should already have one. Do you not think any of the three could beat Quillan or Geale?
