Fellas apologies if this is spam, admin please delete if so, just wanted to let you know about Glenn Mccrory's new app we're trialling tonight on the Frampton show. The jist is the app lets you keep score and gives you a feed of Glenn's card direct from ringside, and also an aggregated scorecard made up of everybody's scores who's using the app. It's something new and we're trying it to see how it goes, could become a regular feature if all goes well.

I downloaded it last night...it was interesting to see how Glenn scored the fights.
Couple of questions, how exactly does the community scorecard work and why does it have scores right through to the twelfth in the Frampton fight?

cheers bud. The community scorecard is an average of everyone's scores who's using the app. Unfortunately a handful of users were tapping in scores for the 10th, 11th etc in the Frampton fight, we can protect against that though so that's something we'll address for the next show.

needs to be on android, more android users than iphone users in uk!!

Downloaded it for the ipad after seeing this thread. Looks good. when is its enxt outing - agree with milpool, the 10th 11th etc... in frampton fight was an annoying glitch

Next outing should be prizefighter, I'll post back here when that's confirmed.

Good little app, is it only sky shows? Also the community scorecards end up 10-10 on a lot of rounds.

re the 10-10 thing. Is it easier to give the round to the person who gets the most 10's from the community? Then have an averaged score at the end (i.e if 10 people score 1100 points to fighter a he gets 110) ?

cheers bud, on the 3 fights combined there's only about 2 or 3 10-10 rounds though.

it's Glenn doing the scoring mate so it'll just be Sky.

Android users, if you type boxing scorecard into you app search you will find a hald decent one, look for a red jimmy savile type figurine. It works ok and is easy to keep your own score etc.

correction, next outing will be the Rees show tomorrow.

apologies, by next day i meant next show, as had been told to me.

its not ready either way, but i do look forward to it.

because its glenn mccrorys app...do we all have to agree with each other?...
