My article is now on the site...fightscorecollector.....
http://fightscorecollector.blogspot.com comments welcome.
Personally i was a little surprised that so MANY had Frampton ahead considering it was a close fight. The fight kinda reminded me of the Marquez vs Diaz 1st fight when Marquez was pressured from the 1st bell but ended the fight suddenly.
cheers for any comments
ps: i will add any scores i have missed after my post in the RBR for this fight.

Great job, shows how subjective fights can be to score.

I just can't see how anyone had Martinez up at all, let alone by 2 or more points !
It was certainly Carls toughest fight as a pro and he definatley lost two or three rounds, but even though Carl boxed of the back foot most of the time, he controlled things nicely and timed his shots beautifully ! Of course he got hit a few times, he was fighting for the European title against a tough man !
Lets not forget that was Carls 16th fight, I'd like to see him fight Quigg next and then train in America for a year touring tough gyms with Shane !

The atmosphere was amazing. Not that that has anything to do with scoring mind you

The official scores were fair: 78-74 x2 and 77-75 Frampton.
I agree with the sentiment above that Martinez should not have been ahead; I gave him three rounds, and I don't see how I could've fairly given him another.

3-4 rounds i think was fair for martinez as some guys go with the aggressor. I gave Martinez 3 rounds although i mentioned that i had it 5-3, it could easily be 4-4 at the time of stoppage

I had Martinez up by one. Frampton had the better "thrown to landed" ratio but i felt Martinez was hitting him more often, was more aggressive and a lot busier.

This is an excellent compilation of scores that you have gathered, very interesting to see how everyone interpreted it. It was a close fight so a few of the rounds could have been scored for either man, but it didnt matter in the end as Frampton's right hand was the referee.
