NEIL Sinclair will finally get his career back on track when he returns to the ring on May 22.
Sinclair will be part of the supporting bill to the latest WBO cruiserweight title defence of Sheffield's Johnny Nelson.
The title bill is tentatively scheduled to take place in Denmark, though promoters Sports Network have yet to rubber stamp those plans. allegedly's right hand man Andy Ayling said: "The date is confirmed it's just a matter of getting the venue established."
For Sinclair it is a chance to get back on the title trail and he insists that his best is still to come.
"I've got the buzz back and I'm enjoying myself again in the gym," said Sinclair.
"I'm 30 and I believe that I'm maturing into my peak. I feel fresh and ready for some big fights.
"Once I get this out of the way I'll be looking for a title fight."
Sinclair is being lined up for a shot at the vacant WBU welterweight title, following the sudden, traumatic retirement of Eamonn Magee.

It will be a welcome return for Sinky. With his lethal punch power and dodgy whiskers, his fights are nearly always short/dramatic.

Good to see him back.

It would be great if it was a shot at the newly vacated WBO title against Damnguard.

Yes good to see Sinclair back on track, shame we can't get him into a fight triangle with Hare and Khaliq. But as we know these fights only happen when one or all of them start losing and see each other as a way back. Such has happened in the Light Middleweight scene, while these guys can make good money making defences of dodgy titles they see no reason to test themselves against one another.

That was a short lived retirement!

I think Jimmy Vincent should get the crack at Sinclair that Neil's temporary retirement robbed him of. And it would be a cracker.
