RIP Jack Rennie, you where a gentleman and a big part of Australian boxing right up to the end. Always a pleasure to deal with and a great mainstay of amateur boxing here. Please say g'day to Lionel and shout him a beer for me.

With the passing of Jack, Aussie boxing has just lost another huge part of its history. Hard to believe Lionel & Jack are both gone. RIP Jack Rennie.

Also worked with Barry Michael for about 10 years. Even though Barry's dad was officially his trainer/manager.

Jack was a great supporter of the ANBF when myself and Alan Moore took over the administration of the National body (for 5 years) it was jack who assisted in keeping us afloat. The National coffers had a sum of around $1,800 in the bank at the time and Jack was the ANBF International co-Ordinator through Jack,s efforts when the new administration took over there was a healthy balance of around $25,000. Jack was not only a legend trainer but a wonderful administrator and ambassador for Australian boxing. he was respected World wide a true legend.
