That's a huge difference in experience, I know Mayweather was an olympian and I believe broner didn't fight much as a senior but 229 more fights !
He must of started alot younger !

I tend to be skeptical of reported amateur records. Since they usually cannot be disconfirmed, they are often distorted to reflect better on the fighter than the fighter's actual amateur record would.

I'd be surprised if Broner had that many fights, but if he did it's rather incredible given that he turned pro at 18, and he must've competed extremely frequently from a very young age. Oscar DLH started at 5 or 6 and boxed in the amateurs until he was 19, but he probably had no more than 240 fights—228 according to him, 205 according to a forum member who officiated in his amateur district, and 240 according to the source listed in his wiki page.

Canelo had like one amatuer fight and look at him

I've heard that Canelo had between 20-40 amateur fights and made it far in the junior nationals.

When you consider Mario Kindelan stayed amateur his whole career and retired at 34 and claims a record 358-22 it's hard to see how Broner racked up 320 before the age of 19. Kostya Tszyu had about 270 and he turned over when he was 23.

May not always help longevity but he is a serious talented fighter

I get the impression they have included gym shows on there record, between 7 and 11 years old he probably fought once a fortnight against members of his gym and local clubs !

I know kids here in California 10 yrs old with close to 50 fights. There many fights every weekend in California . I would advise kids to have no more than 75-100 fights over a career. Those punches add up eventually in most cases.

May have got mixed up. Think JCC Jr didn't hardly had any

Don Curry had a 400-4 amateur record record.

Yep. JCC had only two exhibition fights, both against Jorge Paez Jr. I believe.
