I've read all the stories of this fight, as Jack and Stanley are two of my favorite boxers. The story goes that Johnson got up from the knockdown and hit Ketchel so hard with the right hand that some of Stanley's teeth became embedded in Jack's glove then he moves back to the ropes and brushes them off his glove.

Here's the thing. Johnson wipes his left glove, yet he hit Stanley with his right, so were the teeth really stuck in his glove?

I see the same thing. I'm, not sure it's true. But it makes for a great story.
