Why does the winner have to go anywhere? Can't they just exchange lusty blows with no thought of their future careers?

I agree. With Froch migrating over to PPV, how long will it be until the likes of Brook and Bellew follow suit? Is this going to be the future of Matchroom’s 20 show per year deal with SKY? Move the top fighters to PPV and fill the remaining dates with dead end Prizefighter shows with Kenny Anderson, Kal Yafai and Darren Barker headlining the other remaining dates?

Got to agree to be honest, Don't like to moan about any boxing as I love our sport on tv but this is a poor line up it really is, I am wondering as Matchroom attract
bigger names to the table perhaps the prizefighter nights may see a drop in quality, still lets be positive and hope this is a one off.

I think he's more marketable than Froch.

Anyway, it's a dreadful lineup. Shocking.

The Prizefighters with the lesser lineups are often the more entertaining.

With the occasional exception, Prizefighter tends to be more about exposure and the cash prize than career enhancement.

Anyone who saw Lewison's last fight, or any Travis Walker fight, will be up for this.

Harrison has been strangely quiet in the run-up. Usually he hypes every fight to the moon but I haven't heard or read a peep from him about this one.

Agreed. Travis Walker is never in a boring fight. Huge power and a brittle chin .... What's there not to like?

Prizefighter is better for having poorer fighters in it in my opinion. Quality, fresh, fit guys box at range, win the first and then have guys chase them and walk them onto shots - often dull as hell.

I've lost interest in the format but the mix of worn chins, lack of fitness, last chance saloon and poor techniques makes this the first I've look forward to in ages.

3x3 are for novices or past it ex pros. When prizefighter began to be seen as a launch pad for title shots it started to fade as a watchable product fast.

I'm really looking forward to it.

I take Prizefighter with a pinch of salt. It can be entertaining, for what it is. But I wouldn't define it as proper boxing.

This is an okay line-up, in my opinion. Famous names there. It's not like you're going to be able to attract a full line-up of people whose careers are going well, are you?

I'd rather see Audley do something like this then fighting somebody that's just going to deck him in the first.

I agree this line-up looks poor but the last Prizefighter (Welterweight) was one of the best I have seen.

I would much rather see it always have 4 up and coming fighters and two experienced, I personally think you get a good mix then but there is no real formula.

Sosnowski has to be the favourite surely? Good chin and good workrate, ok skill wise and not too short.

Travis walker can punch and is dangerous in early rounds

The one recently featuring all the top lightweights was pretty shite as a spectacle. Those boys should be getting it on over at least eight rounds.

Can't say its the most exciting prizefighter ever. However its heavyweights and watching them over 3 rounds in prizefigther normally ends up being decent. I reckon it will work alright this weekend.

The onyl thing I would say about people worrying this is a sign of things to come is that this was meant to go alongside Brooks fight which I think is why they didn't worry all that much about the quality.
