Jesus H Corbett.

It's taken him six years to have his last six fights. & now, at age 36, he's decided to sign up for six fights in a 2 1/2 year period...?

What a load of PR bollocks to try to get someone somewhere to care about the Guerrero fight.

PS: I am, as ever, impressed by Vaudeville Villain's intricate & encyclopedic knowledge of Mariah Carey's contractual career.

30 months is a long time Jessi, these younger fighters are getting better and Mayweather is not. I don't see how he would beat Canelo in 2015, do you? Canelo would be hitting 25 and potentially in his prime. No way Mayweather will fight him.

Broner would beat Maywether as well within this 30 month time frame, maybe not now but next year he would IMO

Cynics that are saying its PR bullshit to promote Gurrero. Showtime dont think so, and more importantly this is floyds last chance to make some money before retiring. Isnt he into the IRS for a wedge of cash? He'll be a long time retired.

On the other hand, this is boxing, and you could well be right.

Lets face it, he's not going to fight Alvarez etc anyway.

There are plenty of decent A- level fighters that will fight for comparative peanuts and pose zero risk to his reputation and 0, so why would Mayweather bother? Guerrero is your classicc example - a good, gutsy fighter with a great record behind him, but hardly sublime in the skills department and, lets be honest, naturally quite a bit smaller...
