I know Price looks more vulernable after his defeat BUT Futy avoided Price, always stating that Price was a step back. If that is true and Fury takes out Cunningham, surely the Price fights even further away. Thompson was an out of shape 41 year old, never won a significant title and after 12 odd years as a pro, Price is by far his best win (Timur Ibragimov maybe the only significant name on the list). Whereas Cunningham is 5 years younger than Thompson, a 2 time world champ with a win over Huck.

I still think that Fury v Price would be a massive draw. Judging by the look of Price after Saturday it would be a case of who landas first.

Price has the power to knock Fury out, but I don`t doubt that Fury could knock pricey out just as easily. It`s a 50/50 fight for me.

Price is a long way off fury now, at least 3/4 fights to prove himself.

Totally agree mate - well, I'd favour Fury a bit more - it must surely have dented Price's confidence. Thing is, I don't know whether Fury would want to box him if he got past Cunningham - but who knows?

frank Maloney won't let Price anywhere near Fury. There is a rebuilding job to be done and is does not include a handful like Fury for at least 3 years.

Aye, you would think so, wouldn't you? But what if the same thing happens during the rebuilding job, as it very well might? Might just go for a shootout now...

If the same thing happens in the rebuilding job then I am afraid it's retirement.

Bit of a gamble now in any case. Could be another Pele Reid.

A shootout would make more sense for Maloney. There is still big money to be made in that fight.

However, if Price loses again by knockout in the meantime (and every fighter will go in swinging for him now) the Fury fight loses a lot of appeal.

Just goes to show how fragile a boxers career has become in the modern age. One loss should not make any difference at all, but sadly it does these days.

It's the manner of the loss that does the damage. Price's was a shocker to be honest.
