Sorry for another thread but wasn't the main reason George signed with Frankie instead off Eddie was that he would be allowed to fight on Goldenboy shows in America, with Goldenboy starting to promote shows in England wouldn't it of been better for Haye(Groves) to sign with Goldenboy.

I find it funny people saying Eddie will do a better job with Groves than what Frankie did for him yes he will get more exposure fighting on SKY but Frankie got Groves a winnable world title fight against Abraham Eddie will feed Groves to Froch because he knows Wards style is all wrong for Froch, oh and for the obvious jokes He'll get paid on time with Eddie

I don't see Froch and Groves fighting in the near future, if at all. Eddie might offer Froch the fight but I doubt he'd take it. There's far bigger money fights about for Froch with the likes of Kessler, Ward, Bute the promised Pascal rematch even a fight with Cleverley if he keeps winning. It's like the Degale/Eubank Jr situation with big Mick. Degale is miles ahead of Jr in his career development. Despite what Jr says I can't see that fight happening for a long time either.

Would have to respectfully disagree with you there. I don't think it's a given they'll fight but I certainly think it's a strong possibility in the next 12-18 months.

Obviously it's a natural step up for Groves to take if he keeps progressing, but when you analyse Froch's options post-Kessler I think GG would make sense both in terms of profile and finance. It would be big news over here, and realistically what better options does he have? Depending on the outcome, a third fight with Kessler, but other than that I don't see many better opportunities.

For varying reasons I don't think rematches against Bute, Ward or Abraham will happen. Carl has openly said he makes the weight easily and hasn't shown much enthusiasm towards moving up to LH. Even if he did, a fight with Cleverly will never happen whilst they are working with their current promoters. Pascal a strong option, but I'd reiterate I don't see him moving up. Are there any top level middleweights likely to move up? Certainly not Martinez.

Finally, a Groves fight is marketable and big at the box office win OR lose against Kessler - a lot of the other options wouldn't be.

Just me but if/when Froch outpoints Kessler (my opionion only)
then it's Ward and after that a beachhouse in Barbados and flying back to provide colour commentary on SKY ( thats what he deserves)

Groves would only get a bout with Froch if he (CF) loses either of the above and wants a domestic clean up before retirement, or Groves pulls up trees and gets to, and beats, Ward first.

any other scenario is surely nonsensicle (if thats a word)
