Both men died at 37 by suicide, but their families did not accept that finding. Also, both men died with their wife and child/children at home with them.Gatti's wife was asleep and turpin's wife was on a lower floor and did not hear any of the 4 gunshots that were fired.(Turpin was shot twice as was his 17 month old daughter-she survived.A second daughter was unharmed. ).

Gatti's troubles with his wife are well documented but Turpin's story may not be as well remembered outside of England. He had received threats and was assaulted by 4 men after a wrestling match. Unlike Gatti, Turpin was in severe financial straits.

What stikes me the most is the lack of any explanation as to how Turpin's wife did not hear any gunshots.

After folowing the Gatti case and reading 3 bios of Turpin, I don't know what to believe.

Any thoughts from you guys here?
