Julian Jackson HOF'er

Don't get crazy on me. I'm just asking. No boxer I've seen in my lifetime separated another human being from his senses like this cat.
Some good wins, some bad losses to good fighters. But what power this fella had. Like knock you dead power.
Opinions please. He fought HOF'ers Mccallum and Norris and some really good fighters like McClellan, Graham, and even Drayton, and some other good fighters with mixed results.
Does he belong in Canastota? The dude could level a building with either hand.
I say yes, he's deserving.

Do you think Kalambay belongs?
He beat McCallum, Barkley and Graham.
Jackson also beat Graham plus Norris.
Barkley>Drayton.
Graham: They both beat him.
McCallum>Norris.
This one's a tough call for me (whether Jackson gets in, as he had only one loss in nearly 50 fights), but Sumbu's more deserving than Jackson, I'd say.

To add a little to Jackson's case, he had wins over Thomas Tate and In-Chul Beak, who won a belt at super middle later on.

One of the single hardest hitters with one shot I've ever seen in the sport. Possibly THE hardest hitter. I wasn't able to follow his career all the way through so I'm only aware of a few highlight reel KO's and some losses, but I've always been a fan of Julian since he came to my attention. I wouldn't be upset if he got into the HOF.

Given the laughable precedent of barry mcguigan in the hall than there isnt any way kalambay or jackson can be kept out forever but on merit no.both were good to very fighters in a strong era but not near great altho kalambay was a level higher than jackson.

I for one think Jackson should be in there. I don't think that HOF entry should be based solely on a fighter's record. I think the impact on the sport is also important and by that rationale, I would have Buster Douglas in there. The day after Buster beat Tyson, it shared the front page of my morning newspaper with Nelson Mandela's release from prison.
I also wouldn't allow any fighters into the HOF that that have tested positive for PEDs. No way, no how. No drug cheats allowed.

Agree on drug cheats, but that'll never happen; Hill just got in.

Gatti's induction was worse.

Both Kalambay and Jackson are absolutely deserving.

I don't think Jackson did quite enough. Had he beat McClellan or McCallum than he would have a much better case.

Whether he deserves it or not, he is one of the nicest guys you would ever meet. I got to know him when he was coaching the USVI national team that included his sons, one of whom boxed in the Beijing Olympics and who are now pros. I say yes because he beat Drayton who gave me my 1st loss as an amateur. I wish I could have hit Drayton like the Hawk did!
