Jimmy kilrain Kelly's eyes ???

Hi I thought it was very strict on passing your medical , and can't have bad eyes is he short or long sighted or had the board changed the sticness wich should be the case

Shortsighted doesn't mean blind. As long as he can all around the ring then there's no problem. Loads of boxers wear glasses.

No seriously, Jimmy Kelly, Connor Nixon, Ricky Hatton (at home), Antonio Margarito, Jose Benevidez all wear normal glasses outside of the ring. I've even Hopkins wearing them in the past.

Glad this has been brought up cos I'm going for my boxing eye test soon and was worried my short sight would stop me

Didn't Duke McKenzie used to wear contact lenses when fighting? I'm sure I've read an interview where he states that.
